HERE’S WHAT WE ARE DOING TO KEEP YOU SAFE:

We look forward to having you create in our space and Open Jar Studios is dedicated to your safety. In order to ensure the safety of all of our guests in this creative space, it is essential we follow a strict protocol.

We are working with our infectious disease specialists at Special Pathogens Laboratories, Actors’ Equity Association, and Society of Stage Directors and Choreographers in order to adopt best practice for a safe and organized return-to-work policy. This policy incorporates the developing guidelines set by the city and state on how to safely and effectively reopen.

CLEANING:

Industrial disinfection takes place at the end of each day and continues throughout the day to ensure the safety of our guests. Close attention is paid to all high-touch areas, including door handles, table-tops, pianos.

We have increased the amount of fresh air that is being circulated. By flushing the space with 100% outside air each day two hours before building hours. We utilize the highest rated Merv filters ratings that are compatible with our mechanical systems.

Doors: most common doors will be left open to minimize contact.

BUILDING ACCESS:

Your temperature will be taken by a no-contact thermometer at the front desk. Anyone demonstrating a temperature of 100.4 or higher will not be permitted to enter the facility.

Elevator capacity is limited. Each elevator cab will be marked with floor markings showing occupancy and indicating where to stand. Each person must be wearing a face covering. Please, provide extra time to arrive and check-in at the studios before your session.

If you are unsure if something was wiped down, wipe it down in an abundance of caution.
